I’m so excited to be hosting a dotting retreat in beautiful Fallbrook, California. Fallbrook is a small city in northern San Diego County, that sits among hills and farms. The area’s rich agricultural heritage includes honey, olives, lemons, strawberries, tomatoes, and avocados. Fallbrook is an immensely popular avocado growing area and is now known as the “Avocado Capital of the World!”  Fallbrook is located about an hour north of San Diego, and about an hour south of Orange County.

This 4-day/3-night retreat will be so much more than just a workshop. Because everything takes place in a home, it’s a chance to meet, laugh and truly connect with other like-minded, creative people.  We will spend the entire weekend together!  Not only will we create a beautiful piece of art, but we’ll also be making lasting friendships.  So, let’s connect, chill and create together!

Erin Ridley, Dana Azevedo, Sherry Sullivan

Meet Your Host:

I’m Erin and I’m so excited to be your host for the weekend.  I found dotting 7 years ago and immediately knew that I needed to learn how to do this.  I jumped in with both feet and never looked back! I started teaching classes and creating patterns in 2018.  I have learned so much and have met some of the most amazing people all because of dotting.  I can’t wait to share my enthusiasm for this amazing art with you.  Dana Azevedo and Sherry Sullivan are my assistants extraordinaire!  They will be helping me throughout the weekend with all aspects of the retreat.

What to Expect:

This retreat is all about fun, making new friends, lots of laughter and of course, dotting! This relaxing environment will let your creativity soar!

Limited Availability! Only 19 Tickets Will Be Sold

This one-story house is a perfect place to nurture our creativity and create lasting friendships.  We’ll all stay in the house together.  That means we will eat, sleep and paint together for the entire weekend!  Each person will have their own twin bed in shared rooms.  * There are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Every person will have their own 6’ table that is equipped with a tabletop light for plenty of additional lighting. The chairs are comfy executive office chairs on wheels, complete with a cushioned seat and back.  Each spot has its own trash can, electrical outlets and also a handy drink holder to store your beverage and prevent accidental spills.

The best part about this workspace is that it never closes!  You like to get up early?  No problem!  Are you a night owl? No problem!  All food, non-alcoholic drinks and lodging are included with your registration fee.  You are responsible for your own transportation to the venue. The only thing you need to bring with you is your favorite dotting tools and brushes.  Everything else that you’ll need to create the 14” group project will be provided.

Private Facebook Group:

We will create a special Facebook group for the retreat.  Everyone going to the retreat will be added to the group.  We can start to get to know each other.  We can share the excitement.  We can start to get to know one another. We can coordinate any details such as arrival and departure times and possibly share car rental costs and carpool together to the house in Fallbrook. It's a great way to start building connections and community before we even arrive in Fallbrook.
