About the event

☀️ Welcome to Fallbrook

I’m so excited to be hosting our second annual Dot Art Retreat in sunny Fallbrook, California. Fallbrook is a small city in northern San Diego County, nestled among rolling hills, farms, and orchards. It’s about an hour north of San Diego and an hour south of Orange County — close enough to be convenient, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true getaway.

Last year’s retreat went by so quickly that we’ve added an extra day for 2027. This 5‑day / 4‑night retreat will be so much more than just a workshop. Because everything takes place in a home, it becomes a space to meet, laugh, relax, and genuinely connect with other like‑minded, creative people.

We’ll spend our days creating beautiful art, learning new techniques, and sharing time together in a way that feels natural and meaningful. Our hope is that when you leave the retreat, you’ll feel recharged, inspired, and deeply connected — not just to your art, but to the wonderful people who join you on this journey.

Meet Your Host

I’m Erin, and I’m so excited to be your host for this year’s Dot Art Retreat. I discovered dotting during a late‑night Pinterest rabbit hole — one

Erin, Dana and Sherry

of those moments where you see something and instantly know, I have to learn this. I jumped in with both feet and never looked back.

Since 2018, I’ve been teaching classes, creating patterns, and connecting with the most incredible people through this art form. Dotting has brought so much joy, creativity, and community into my life, and I can’t wait to share that enthusiasm with you.

I’m also thrilled to say that Dana Azevedo and Sherry Sullivan are returning as my “assistants extraordinaire!” These two are an absolute force — organized, energetic, supportive, and truly the heartbeat of so many retreat moments. They’ll be helping throughout the entire weekend, making sure everything runs smoothly and that you feel welcomed, encouraged, and cared for.

What to Expect:

This retreat is an immersive, joy‑filled experience centered around fun, friendship, laughter, and of course — dotting! The relaxed environment allows your creativity to soar while giving you space to unwind, connect, and truly enjoy the process.

Limited to 20 participants.

🛏️ Your Room

Our one‑story retreat home is the perfect place to nurture creativity and build lasting friendships. We’ll all stay together under one roof — eating, sleeping, painting, and sharing time for the entire retreat. Each participant will have their own twin bed in shared rooms, and the home includes 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms for comfort and convenience. Each shared room is cozy and thoughtfully arranged to make you feel at home.

🎨 Your Workspace

Your workspace is designed with care and intention. Every person will have their own 6’ table, complete with:

  • a tabletop light for extra illumination

  • a comfy executive office chair on wheels

  • personal electrical outlets

  • an individual trash can

  • and a handy drink holder to prevent spills

And the best part? The workspace never closes. Early birds and night owls are equally welcome — paint whenever inspiration strikes.

All food, non‑alcoholic drinks, and lodging are included in your registration fee. You are responsible for your own transportation.

The only things you need to bring are your favorite dotting tools and brushes. Everything else required for the retreat projects and mini classes will be provided for you.

💬 Private Facebook Group

We’ll have a private Facebook group just for retreat participants. Once you’re registered, you’ll be added to the group so we can start connecting long before we arrive in Fallbrook.

It’s a fun and easy way to get to know one another, share the excitement, ask questions, and start building our little community. It is also the perfect place to coordinate arrival and departure times, sharing car rentals, and arranging carpools to the retreat house. By the time we meet in person, you’ll already feel like you’re arriving among friends.
